League of Arab States

The League of Arab States at MSUMUN X will be a vibrant and engaging committee dedicated to exploring contemporary issues facing Arab states today. This specialized agency will be comprised of 22 member states, offering a smaller and more personal committee environment.  Throughout the weekend, delegates will be encouraged to develop innovative approaches to critical problems in order to reenact the Arab League and accurately mirror the aims of the organization as stated in the Charter, “to draw closer the relations between member States and co-ordinate their political activities with the aim of realizing a close collaboration between them, to safeguard their independence and sovereignty, and to consider in a general way the affairs and interests of the Arab countries.”
