World Health Organization: Pan American Division
The Pan American Health Organization is a political body that works in tandem with the United Nations to improve health and living standards of the countries of the Americas. Our mission is to lead strategic collaborative efforts among Member States and other partners to promote equality in health, to combat disease, and to improve the quality of, and lengthen, the lives of the peoples of the Americas. As an organization, we have over 100 years of experience and take pride in being the oldest international health agency in the world. As delegates, you will be expected to ensure the health and security of a whole region of the world through combating the spread of infectious diseases and improving health standards within developing nations. We look forward to another year of continued excellence in cooperative leadership, research and regional health promotion.
