Skanderbeg’s Stand: The Fate of Albania 1444

Albania has survived as a neighbor of the Ottomans for about a century, and even managed to cultivate some limited peaceful cultural exchange: but that is now looking to change. Mehmed the Conqueror is eyeing up all of his neighbors, and Albania is no exception. But Albania has a defender: Gjergj Kastrioti, better known as Skanderbeg. He is arguably the greatest military mind of his day, and he alone has the tactical genius to convert Albania's tiny population and limited resources into a match for the massive Ottoman forces bearing down on the region. The native chieftains and nobles have come together to form a defensive league to aid Skanderbeg in his efforts: but already the common interest is fracturing and disunity spreads like a pestilence. Each of these leaders have their own regional interests to deal with, and loyalty obligations to fulfill. Some of them face more pressing dangers from other powers such as Hungary and Venice. If they devote their resources to such ventures, not even Skanderbeg's genius can save them from Ottoman rule.
Will they unite? Or will they fall?
