MSUMUN Award Policy

Awards are decided at the discretion of the Dias, given to the delegates who have most successfully represented their position’s policy, cooperated with fellow committee members, and played an effective role in committee sessions. Positions papers are required to be eligible for awards, and quality is taken into account when determining awards. All committees may present one Best Delegate award, one Outstanding Delegate, one Honorable Mention award, one Book Award, and one Verbal Commendation (two in the case of General Assemblies), though may change at the discretion of the Dias. The Secretariat will award Best and Outstanding awards to Small/Large delegations to the schools with the most individual awards in their category. The awards selection process will at all times remain confidential, and any question or concerns may be addressed to the Secretary-General. Committee Dais decisions are final and will not be reversed on any appeal.
