    Ryan is a Senior majoring in Social Relations and Policy (JMC) and Economics. He has been competing on the collegiate MUN circuit for three years and has gone to conferences in Montreal, Chicago, Boston, and other awesome places. Outside of MSUMUN, Ryan was the president of the breakdancing club for 2 years where he got to celebrate the culture of hip-hop and teach others how to break like he does. Ryan has worked as staffer at two previous MSUMUN conferences, was last year's USG of Technology, and looks forward to seeing all of the new (and returning) faces at MSUMUN and RCMUN this Spring.

    Jane is a third-year student studying Social Relations and Policy along with minors in Public Relations and History. This is her third year in MSUMUN, having been the Chief of Staff of last year's conference, and seventh year involved in Model UN. She loved coming to MSUMUN as a high schooler and hope to create that experience for the delegates of MSUMUN XXIV! In her limited free time, she enjoys watching movies, annoying her sister (hi Nat!), and keeping up with pop culture. She is also a tour guide here at MSU, and is willing to give personal tours for a small fee. (Joke. . . maybe)

  • Kate VanderWeele

    Kate is a senior studying Comparative Cultures and Politics and International Relations (JMC). This is her third year in MSUMUN and she previously served as a junior and senior staffer of GA/specialized committees. Outside of MSUMUN, she is also a member of the International Relations Organization, the competitive Model UN team here at MSU. Additionally, Kate also works as a campus tour guide for prospective MSU students. In her free time, she enjoys knitting, listening to music and going on walks around campus. Kate is so excited for MSUMUN XXIV and can’t wait to see our amazing committees in action!

  • RJ Schoen

    Returning for their second year as USG of Crisis, RJ Schoen is more excited than ever to help build up the amazing crisis committees at MSUMUN XXIV! As a fourth year in Social Relations Policy and Communication Leadership and Strategy, RJ likes to keep busy on campus through participation in MSUMUN, the competitive Model UN team, MSU Mock Trial, and Moot Court. RJ was never able to participate in Model UN as a high schooler as they come from the great (but small) state of Wyoming but is so excited to be able to provide that opportunity for high schoolers all over Michigan and can't wait to welcome you all to campus!

  • Nat Swartz

    Nat Swartz is a third-year at Michigan State, studying Human Geography with minors in History and Cites: Design, Environment, Society. This is her second year in MSUMUN, previously serving as the Under Secretary General of Operations for MSUMUN XXIII, and her 7th year in Model UN as a whole. Outside of MSUMUN, she enjoys cooking and baking, watching Formula 1 with Jane, and going to concerts. Eventually, she hopes to pursue a Master's degree in Museum Studies, Geography, or a combination of the two, in order to further a career in curation, archival design, or exhibition design.

    Shauna is a junior majoring in accounting at the Broad College of Business. She was previously a junior staffer for the Look What You Made Her Do: The Sale of Taylor Swift’s Masters committee. Outside of MSUMUN, she is a part of ASMSU, the undergraduate student government, and is also a member of the Chinese-American Student Coalition. In her free time, she enjoys scrolling Twitter, obsessively playing sudoku, and searching for new music to listen to. Shauna is very excited to help make MSUMUN XXIV the best one yet!

  • Andrew Compton

    Andrew is a fourth year studying Environmental Sustainability and International Relations. Andrew now spends most of his time working as a researcher in the College of Civil & Environmental Engineering, working with Inuit communities on subarctic housing issues, focusing on rural energy efficiency disparities & renewable energy in the subarctic tundra. This will be Andrew’s eighth year in Model UN, since his freshman year of high school. He’s very excited to close out his time in college with MSUMUN!

  • Elijah-Kelly Roberson

    Kelly’s major is in international affairs and public policy with a focus on environmental security in the Indo-Pacific region. He joined MSUMUN last semester as a junior staffer for a the IMF GA committee and was a member of MSUMUN’s sister organization for a year prior to joining. Kelly is really eager to learn more while working alongside our amazing staff and attendants to ensure we all have a fantastic MSUMUN experience! His hobbies include reading, playing music, and watching Spartan football in my free time.

  • Christian Allmand

    Christian is this year’s Secretary-General of RCMUN XIV. He is a junior studying Supply Chain Management at the Eli Broad College of Business, a graduate of Discovery Middle School in Canton, MI, and has been involved with MSUMUN since his freshman year. In MSUMUN, Christian was a junior staffer for the crisis committee “The 65th Congress of the United States of America” and was a senior staffer for the “Klondike Gold Rush of 1896” crisis committee. Outside of MSUMUN, he is a general assembly representative for the Broad College of Business in the ASMSU, Michigan State’s undergraduate student government, and also serves as the treasurer of the Michigan State University Book Club. Christian is excited to be hosting this year’s RCMUN conference in the beautiful Broad College of Business and can’t wait to see our committees come to life!

    Dante hails from our nation's capital of DC and is here at MSU studying Comparative Culture and Politics and International Relations. Last year Dante worked to bring peril to the nation of Paraguay as a CD in the War of the Triple Alliance committee, but now he comes to you as MSUMUN's Chief of Staff. That's not all he's doing with his sophomore year however. Dante also is an avid player of tabletop games like Dungeons and Dragons and is a DJ at “the Impact”, MSU’s local radio station. Overall, he’s excited to help develop another great year of committees for everyone.

    Katie is a third-year student studying Social Relations and Policy with an additional major in Political Science Pre-Law. This will be her third year in MSUMUN and seventh year involved in MUN. She is also a tour guide, putting all those MUN skills to good use while showing prospective students MSU’s beautiful campus. Outside of academic activities, she enjoys binge watching tv shows, reading , and mainly consuming as much media as possible. She is very excited to work with all the wonderful people in MSUMUN to make the conference a success!
