Jack Maloney (he/him) is a 3rd year student originally from Illinois (though he forgets this fact) studying Business Management with a minor in Economics, and plans to attend law school after he finishes his undergraduate. Jack previously served as the Chair for the MTV Board of Directors for MSUMUN XXIV and as the Under-Secretary General of Crisis for MSUMUN XXV, and also competes with our sister organization, MSUIRO! If you catch him during the 1 minute a week he isn’t thinking about MUN, you can find him writing, reading a new book (finishing up Pride and Prejudice as we speak), playing his guitar, or destroying the kitchen of the poor soul who let him touch their cooking utensils. This is Jack’s 6th and final year in Model UN, so he hopes to go out with a bang and will see you all at MSUMUN XXVI!

Anna Matz (she/her), Deputy Secretary-General, is a third year student at Michigan State's James Madison College, studying Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy. Anna was the Chief of Staff for MSUMUN XXV, and a Junior Staffer for MSUMUN XXIV, as well as a staffer for several high school conferences during her high school years. She is also a member of MSU's competitive travel Model United Nations program, the International Relations Organization, and enjoys darting around the East Coast for conferences with the team. Outside of Model UN, Anna can be found at every Michigan State basketball game, frequently rewatching Bridgerton, or reminiscing about her hometown, Seattle, and how wonderful the West Coast is. She knows each and every one of you will have the time of your life at MSUMUN XXVI and cannot wait to meet you all!

Ethan (he/him) is a senior studying Public Affairs in Secondary Education with a minor in Education in Society, and is honored to serve as the 16th Secretary General of RCMUN. This will be Ethan's fourth and final year in MSUMUN, having previously served as a junior staffer in the IMF, a senior staffer in the ILO, and as the Under Secretary General of Committees. Outside of MSUMUN, Ethan is currently student teaching and working as a resident assistant in Wonders Hall. More than anything, Ethan enjoys being in nature, listening to yacht rock, and spending time with friends and family.

Hello folks! My name is Kael Ligon (he/him), the Under-Secretary General of Committees for this year's MSUMUN! I am currently a senior studying international relations and Francophone language and cultures. Additionally, I have been actively involved in MSUMUN for all of my time here at MSU, junior staffing for the International Telecommunications Union, 2012 Kygyzstan, and last year chairing for the 1919 Pan-African Congress. I have likewise been competing for MSU's competitive Model UN team, IRO, and am additionally passionate about writing, golfing, playing the cello, and gaming.

Claire (she/her) is a junior double majoring in International Relations (IR) and Politics, Rights, and Culture (PRC) at James Madison College with a minor in Mandarin Chinese. This will be her 11th year of Model UN overall and her third year staffing MSUMUN. Being a crisis delegate at heart, she previously was an Assistant Crisis Director for MTV: Board of Directors and the Crisis Director for Slaying the Qing Dragon: The Revive China Society. Outside of MSUMUN. Outside of MSUMUN, she participates in the "James Madison Human Rights Lab," which works with the International Criminal Court. She loves to read, listen to music, and learn about/travel around the world! You can often find her on campus with her friends watching most types of TV shows, movies, and/or documentaries!
Claire Urban, USG of Crisis
My name is Catherine Partridge (she/her) and I am a sophomore this year at Michigan State University as your USG of External Affairs. I am studying at James Madison College, majoring in International Relations and Political Theory & Constitutional Democracy. This will be my ninth year of doing Model United Nations and my second official year on the college circuit. I have participated in a variety of MSUMUN committees such as AD HOC, Chernobyl, Pirates, Triangle Shirtwaist, and helped chair in the Formula One committee this past year! I love participating in debate with others, not just to win awards, but I have made lifelong friends from MUN, including some MSUMUN members you'll meet throughout the conference. My favorite hobbies are swimming, making new playlists, and having many side quests with my friends on campus.

Jared Malone (he/him) is a Junior studying Business Management with a minor in Information Technology at the Broad College of Business. Jared has been a member of MSUMUN for two years, including being a Junior Staffer for the Baikal Insurrection committee during MSUMUN XXV, but has participated in Model United Nations since his junior year of high school, doing mostly crisis committees. When not working on things for MSUMUN, Jared loves to spend his time watching Michigan State sports (through the good times and the bad) and having game nights with his friends.

Patrick (he/him) is a third-year computer science student focusing on accessible computing and human-computer interaction. It is his third year in MSUMUN, serving as the USG of Operations for MSUMUN XXV and a Junior Staffer for MSUMUN XXIV. Patrick has a deep passion for MUN and is excited to welcome all to campus for a fun celebration of MSUMUN’s quarter-centennial conference. Outside of MSUMUN, Patrick is involved in the MSU Underwater Hockey Club and is a leader for the Honors Students Actively Recruiting (H-STAR) group.
Patrick Lo, USG of Technology
Anthony (he/him) is a junior studying civil engineering with a focus in structural engineering. Last year was his first year in MSUMUN where he was a junior staffer in the F1: At The Apex committee. His favorite is specialized committees because they are a smaller size with a more focused interest. Some hobbies and interests include basketball, football, soccer, Formula 1, and many other sports. Growing up he played basketball football and soccer. He also loves spending time with friends and family. Fun fact his favorite food is pizza because you can put so many different things on it and his favorite drink is Dr.Pepper.
Thara Balasubramaniam, USG of Development
Hey! My name is Thara Balasubramaniam (she/her) and I'm the USG of development! I’m a sophomore studying civil engineering and sustainable studies. I've been in MUN for 4 years, competing 3 years as a delegate and junior staffing for 1. I love all committees, but my favorite has always been specialized. Over the years, I've made amazing memories, friends and improved my public speaking abilities! I encourage everyone to keep going on their MUN journey, it's worth it! In my free time, I love baking, reading cheesy books, painting, music, and watching movies. Can't wait to see you all at MSUMUN!
Peter (he/him) is a 2nd year pre-med and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology student with a minor in Science Technology and Environment in Public Policy. Peter has been involved in MSUMUN as a staffer and as a delegate, serving as a junior staffer for A World in Crisis: DISEC and as a delegate in MSUMUN XXII-XXIV. Outside of MSUMUN, Peter works as an undergraduate research assistant for the Skirycz lab in the BMB department and as an EMT for a local ambulance service. Peter also can be found writing comedy sketches, playing piano, and taking truly awful photos of his friends. He can't wait for MSUMUN XXVI!!
